Mother's Apron Card

My inspiration for this card was seen on Flickr. My husband drew the apron template by freehand on cardboard. I traced the design onto the back of my desired scrapbook paper and cut out the apron. The ribbon was wrapped around the front of the apron like a tye and the top was a loop.

I printed the "mom" sentiment from a font that I found desirable on Microsoft word. I placed the cut out sentiment on the card in the appropriate place, took a pencil and continually wrote over top of the sentiment until I had an indent on the card that I could see easily. I traced the sentiment with a Versa Mark Pen. While the clear ink from the pen was still wet I sprinkled black embossing powder over the sentiment. Tap off the excess powder and heat the powder with a heat gun and voila.
