This is an upcycle project where I upcycled my father's old office chair. This is a classic office chair we often find lying around.

Supplies

The old office chair or a metal rod .

Step 1: Step1: Dismantle

I removed the wooden frames, and screws the structure had.

Step 2: Step 2 : Remodel

Next I restructured the chair to add/increase the support, by cutting the back rods and adding them to the bottom.

Step 3: Step 3: Painting

I sanded the whole chair and applied primer and paint to get a smooth surrface.

Step 4: Step 4: Weaving

After the paint is dried, I started weaving seating out of cotton chord. It is a simple basket weave. I also wove a small surface at the bottom to add some sot of storage to the stool.
