Introduction: Multi Room Fort With Door

Step 1: Start

For this step you need a small couch. Place the couch about 3-4 feet from a sturdy object. This sturdy object must be able to support a mattress leaning on it for the next step.

Step 2: Hall to Small Room

You will need one mattress for this step. All you have to do is lean the mattress on the small couch placed in the last step.

Step 3: Building the Frame

For this step you will need 2 mattresses and one box spring. First thing that you will have to do is lean one of the mattresses on something sturdy like a wall or fireplace in this case. Next you have to get your box spring and lean it against the mattress so that it forms a 90 degree angle.

Step 4: Hallway Roof

For this step you will need another box spring to place on top of the 2 mattresses and one box spring put down in the last two steps. Make sure that this new box spring is sturdy for the next step.

Step 5: Higher Roof

For this optional step you will need a small ottoman that will be placed on top of the box spring in the last step. This will raise you roof in the main room of the fort.

Step 6: Small Room Roof

For this step you will need a sheet to cover the small room at the end of the hall. To do this lay the sheet over the part of the hall not covered by the box spring and attach one end somewhere high.

Step 7: Main Room Frame

For this step you will need another mattress. Place this mattress at a 45 degree angle from the box spring on the ground. You should start to see the main room form.

Step 8: Main Roof

For this step you are going to need a large bed sheet, a pillow and a heavy blanket. First take your bed sheet and lay it over top of the ottoman and over the last mattress. Secure it with the pillow and blanket.

Step 9: Small Couch Room

For this you will need a large cushion and pillow. First take the cushion and place it against an armrest. And then support it more with the pillow. If your couch doesn't have armrests then you can use a fluffy blanket to support it.

Step 10: Final Roof and Door

You will need a large bed sheet and if possible a swivel couch. First drape the sheet over what ever remains uncovered and and then hold it in place with the heavy blanket holding the main room roof in place. Next use the swivel couch too close off the final gap so that in order to get in, you must swivel around.

Step 11: Last Added Cover

If you would like, you can partially cover the door so that you actually have to swivel to get in.
