Introduction: Mummy Pops
I followed Bakerella (http://www.bakerella.com/) for quite a few years. I thought cake pops were fun, but much more work than I was willing to put in. Especially when I can’t eat as many sweets as I would like. So I only did them for very special occasions. The special occasion this time is that I had a 24 hour period all to myself, the house was clean, I had want I needed on hand and Halloween is just around the corner. Here is how to make a Mummy Pop.
Step 1:
Supplies:
Oreo cookies
M&M’s
White chocolate melts (I had some left over white chocolate for running a chocolate fountain, so that is what I used.)
Sucker sticks
Spoon
Microwave
Toothpick
Foil or waxed paper

Step 2:
Melt the chocolate melts according to package directions (I stuck mine in the microwave for 60 seconds and stirred. Repeated again and it was totally melted.
Step 3:
Dip the sucker stick in the melted chocolate and then stick it between the layers of the Oreo cookie. Lay the cookie on the stick on the foil. Let set until hard.
Pick out 2 red M&M's for the eyes of each mummy.

Step 4:
Dip the cookie on the stick into the melted chocolate. Let as much drip off as possible. Lay it on the foil.
Step 5:
Quickly add the two red M&M’s for the eyes. Let set out on the counter until the chocolate totally sets. This may take as much as an hour. If you want, to speed it up, put them into the fridge until set (15 minutes).
Step 6:
If you need to, re melt the white melts. With a spoon drizzle Move the white melts over the cook and even the eyes to create the wrapping around the mummy. Let the melts set.
Step 7:
Spooky and cute! Enjoy!
