My GBRL Cnc Controller With Arduino

Here, i show you my finished GBRL- Arduino CNC controller. For packaging i used old lunchbox

Step 1: Wiring

I wired it as it shown on Github, and upload GBRL 8.0 with x loader

Step 2:

Its all packadged in old lunchbox. I cutted top with dremel, and mount acryl board with cooling fan and switch. I like to see whats going on in box :)

Step 3: Software and Motors

Motors are taken from old EPSON printer, but definitly i need something stronger. Software is GBRL controller.

hi friend! please if possible ,say to us how programin to control a 3 phase AC motor , is necessary an output in 6 steps angle controled , end goes to the drive for IGBT , this configuration control a 3 phase AC motor , in the analogical IN comes a potentiometer , this is to my electric car with a 3 phase AC motor (10 HP) , ok

greate job. I hope that you succeeded assemble the cnc. Two questions. with which program did you create this butterfly? if You do with inkspace did you have some special plug-in to write the *.nc file? I assemble the laser cutter and I need the LASERENGRAVER plug-in for inkspace to export the *.nc file for "grbl controler".

there is no mechanical part, yet, whole project is stopped because lack of finance and time :) But, when i make mechanical part, i will surely put it here for people to see :) If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask :)

Hi nikola501, I 'm working on a similar project and think watching your motors are similar to those that I have (Epson EM-400 - EM-402), with that power supply power them? What is the settings you used for motors? Thanks in advance for the info .

Hi! yes, you're right, that are motors from Epson printer. I have used power supply from DVD player, that have 18v,12v and 5v out, but you can use practicly anything for power supply. Check out power supply from printer that you get thoose motors from, i think that theese motors can drive up to 25v (but not going over that, because easy drivers can go trough 30v i think...
anyway, just check pinout from power supply with unimer to be sure, before you use it...
I didnt calibrate motors yet, because i dont put it in mechanic of cnc machine...
