Nail Ring

Make a ring for your finger with a nail!

This is a very simple project. Choose a longer nail that can fit around your finger. The nail I used wasn't long enough, that's why it couldn't close all the way around. You can also choose to add a stone for your ring if you want.

Step 1: You Need...

You need:

- a nail

- two wrenches

- some wire

I think this is simple enough. :)

Step 2: Bending the Nail

Just use the wrenches to bend the nail into a ring. It may take some patience.

You may heat the ring up a little if you want, but I didn't have to do that because my nail was skinny enough.

Step 3: Adding the Wire

Simply twirl the wire around the ring. Or just twirl the wire however you want, be creative. :) Wrap the wire around the point of the nail so that it doesn't hurt your finger when wearing it. Add a stone or a bead if you want.

Step 4: Finished!

The ring is finished!

Maybe you can carve in some words on the ring if you're skilled.

The ring may rust if you get it wet.
