Introduction: Natural 3 Ingredient Bathscrub (Customizable ¦ Easy)

Hi! This is my first Instructable and I hope that it's (somehow) going to be helpful to you!

Before we get started, here are some notes:

  • Takes 4-6 minutes to make
  • I've seen so many different things put inside these, so feel free to customize it with whatever ingredients you like! I used brown sugar + Himalayan Pink Salt + tea powder + Coffee Beans for the images above. (Tip, sprinkles give it a touch of cuteness and color while not having to add unnatural dyes)
  • Apply moderately, it can be used on any part of your body. Now scrub! After scrubbing for 1-2 minutes rinse it off and your skin should feel rejuvenated

Supplies

  • 1/2 a cup of sugar (not too coarse, both white and brown is acceptable)
  • 1 tablespoon of a "health" oil - when I say this, I mean ones like coconut oil and eucalyptus oil, not vegetable oil
  • A base ingredient of your choice - This determines your bathscrub's "flavor". Some examples are lemon-honey, coffee scrubs, and rosemary-lavender

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Have two containers at hand, one to mix in and the other for storing the bathscrub in.

Now gather your ingredients and grab some paper towels just incase anything gets messy! ;)

Step 2: Make the Base

Pour the sugar into the bowl for mixing and add your chosen base ingredients. Now mix thoroughly till it's a part of the sugar. If you have chosen a base that requires mashing first (like coffee beans), make sure you turn it into mush or a powder and then mix with the sugar.

Step 3: Add the "Health" Oil

Now add a few drops of your health oil into the base. Mix this and then touch it. If it's still very dry and you aren't able to mold it into anything add a few more drops and mix again. Continue till it's a moist, slightly rough, bathscrub. The above examples are how it should look.

Step 4: Store, Sell, or Use It Right Now!

Store the final product in the container you had put aside or use it right now instead! Make sure not to leave the container in heat, but at the same time don't leave it in the fridge. A room temperature drawer/cabinet is perfect! If you would like to sell these, I recommend labelling them. I've even attached a pdf with different labels on them (made by yours truly) below! If you would like to make your own labels instead, Canva is a good place to start ;)
