An Indigenous wildlife plunge pool for the garden

Step 1: Construction Method

Planting zone surface area must, at least, be equal to the swimming zone

Swimming zone

  • Constructed using recycled brick, rock and cement. Lined with fiberglass

Planting Zone

  • All materials gathered locally
  • pvc pond liner used
  • Natural Limestone rock (alkaline) and Quartz (acidic) used as planting medium
  • All planting was gathered from various local rivers and dams. Local farmers are always keen to help with environmental issues. These natural pools, only, impact positively on the environment and wildlife moves in instantly.

Small fountain pumps circulates the water; drawing beneath the plants and bubbling out at the bottom of the swimming zone.

Works beautifully and water remains crystal clear. Do not be 'put off' by unnecessary scientific information that causes confusion and doubt.

Use local wetlands and your guide and understand how they work. NO DEGREE NECESSARY!!!
