A removable lens for the nightlight projector. this is my first instructable so if you don't mind can you please leave some feedback in the comments ill upload the projector tomorrow.

Step 1: Gathering Materials

For this project you will need: -Cardstock (The thickness doesn't matter as long as it fits in your projector) -Electrical tape or any other tape that isn't very thick -Stencil (optional) -Plastic laminate

Step 2: Gather Tools

The tools you need for this project can most likely be found in your house. all you need is a pair of scissors a pencil and a X-Acto knife or small box cutter.

Step 3: Dry Fitting the Cardstock

This step is very simple. All you need to do is cut the card stock down to the approximate size of your projector (You might want to trace the projector on the cardstock), then you need to dry fit it (Slide it into to the projector) and trim until it fits. Note: you will want to make the cardstock loose fitting because the tape adds to its thickness.

Step 4: Adding the Stencil

This step is also easy. You just need to eyeball the stencil until its centered on the cardstock, trace it and cut it out with the X-Acto knife or box cutter. Note: If you don't have a stencil or are feeling artsy you can sketch the outline of a shape.

Step 5: Adding the Laminate

All you need to do for this step is take the laminate sheet and cut it equal with the cardstock then take your electrical tape and attach it on all four sides. (Make sure to do this one side at a time and if you make it to long on one side take your scissors and cut it flush with the lens)

Step 6: Insert the Lens

This step is self-explanatory but just in-case you don't understand all you need to do is take the lens and slide it through the space in the popsicle sticks. You want to do this as close to the top as you can, although you might want to experiment with the position for different effects.
