Introduction: No Bake Birthday Cake
Want to bring a fun treat to a birthday party or do you want to make a fun treat that taste like a birthday cake but doesn't require as much effort and still tastes amazing? Well this recipe has you covered! These no bake birthday cake bars are perfect and they actually taste like a birthday cake but in a fun bar shape with fun colors to look at and enjoy! There are days when I don't want to turn on the oven and put a lot of work into making a cake. I just want something that tastes like a cake so this recipe is perfect and will have you covered! Step 1: Ingredients and Tools
Ingredients
- 8 cups Rice Chex™ Cereal
- 1/3 cup Rainbow Sprinkles
- 2 tablespoons Butter (cut into pieces)
- 1 bag (10 oz) miniature Marshmallows
- 3/4 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-oz container)
- ½ cup White Vanilla Baking Chips
Tools
- 13x9 Baking Dish
- Pyrex Mixing Bowl
- Pyrex Bowl 3 set
- All Clad Stainless-Steel Set
- Misc. kitchen utensils
Step 2: Preparing Pans
Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Spray large bowl with cooking spray.
Step 3: Adding Cereal and Sprinkles
Add cereal and ¼ cup of the sprinkles to bowl.
Step 4: Melting Butter and Marshmallows
In a large saucepan add butter and marshmallows and melt over medium heat.
Step 5: Add Frosting and Baking Chips
Stir in ½ cup of the frosting and the white vanilla baking chips into the marshmallow mixture and continue to mix until everything is melted and incorporated.
Step 6: Combining Ingredients
Pour hot marshmallow mixture over cereal mixture; stir until cereal is well coated. Add mixture to baking pan and press cereal firmly into pan.
Step 7: Work on Toppings
In small saucepan warm the remaining ¼ cup frosting until melted and smooth. Drizzle over top of bar with fork. Sprinkle remaining sprinkles over top.
Step 8: Cool and Enjoy!
Cool at least 1 ½ hours or until firm. Once cooled, cut into bars. Enjoy!
