Introduction: Nokia N95 Base ("tripod")
Very simple base for keeping your Nokia N95 up. it is built using some unused credit cards and one dual 3.5mm audio plug. It is useful for taking self pictures or videos. The idea may be improved using other plug adapters, maybe connecting it to a real tripod.
Step 1: Find a Suitable Plug
First step is to find a suitable 3.5mm plug. I decided to use a dual output 3.5mm plug since its base is larger, creating a better support for N95. These plugs are common and easy to find. There are some adapters for airplane phones that can be used as well.
Step 2: Creating the Base
Find a credit card and drill it according to your plug. You can use a stiletto or a sharpened knife. Choose a good position for centering your N95 over the base. May be necessary to scrape the raised numbers or letters.
Step 3: Glueing
Using some glue like super bond, glue plug and base. If you want a ticker base, you can use more credit cards.
Step 4: Thicker Base
I decided to create a ticker base. So I added some cards from gsm chips. They are nice since they donôt have raised letter/numbers. For hiding the gsm chip hole, I put a conventional credit card at the bottom.
Step 5: Enjoy !
That is all ! Your base ("tripod") is done. Improve it, creating new adapters for real tripods.

This is actually a really really awesome idea. And agreeing with LinuxH4x0r, you might want to cover up your name--just blur it out. Awesome job, you did it really neatly.

Cool! I might use this method. You might want to cover up the part of the card that has your name.
