Onshape Trophy (MM)

This is a gold trophy I designed for the Instructables Contest 2022.

Supplies

The program I used to create this trophy is called Onshape.

Step 1: Sketch 1

Start my drawing a similar trophy-like design on the Front Place. You can dimension the lines to whatever number, depending on how big you want your trophy to me.

Draw a line going along to y-axis to revolve later.

For my design, I dimensioned them to 42mm and 56mm.

Step 2: Revolve

Next, I revolved the shape I designed. I revolved around the y-axis and got a trophy out of it. The shell thickness was 2.5 mm.

Step 3: Shell

Now, I used to shell tool on the Face of Revolve 1 to add more depth and details to my trophy.

Step 4: Sketch 2

To create a base for my trophy, I drew a rectangle on the Right Plane.

Any shape and dimension is fine depending on your preference.

Step 5: Extrude 1

After my sketch, I extruded to add dimension.

The information I included in my extrude was: Add > Face of Sketch 2 > Blind> 50mm

Step 6: Sketch 3

Now to add words only my trophy base, I made a sketch of the Face of Extrude 1.

I added a text and wrote Instructables Contest - 1st Place with the font titled Arimo.

I dimensioned my text by 8mm.

Step 7: Extrude 2

Lastly, I extruded removed the text by 5mm.

You can do any text or color of your choice.

Step 8: Finished

Now you have your own Onshape Trophy!
