Introduction: Oreo Cakeballs

Materials Needed:
1 package of Oreos of your choice (we chose birthday cake)
1 8oz package of Philadelphia cream cheese softened
1 package of semi-sweet Nestle chocolate chip morsels
Gallon sized Ziploc bag
Cookie sheet with foil on top
Spoon
Fork
2 Large bowls (one must be microwavable)
Microwave
Freezer

NOTE: Objects coming out of microwave might be hot, take out with caution!
Make sure hands are washed and area is clean, because this does get messy.

Step 1:

Pour the whole package of Oreos into the gallon sized Ziploc bag and crush with your fist. They should be crushed to a crumb like texture. (If you cannot crush them with your fist you can use anything else, for example a rolling pin.)

Step 2:

Pour the crushed cookies into one of the large bowls and add cream cheese. Mash the cream cheese into the Oreos with the fork and stir until it is a pasty consistency. Set aside.

Step 3:

Pour the whole bag of chocolate morsels in the microwavable bowl and microwave the bowl for 30 seconds. Take out and stir.

Step 4:

Continue to microwave morsels in 15-second increments, stirring in between until morsels are completely melted.

Step 5:

With your hands, grab a handful of the Oreo and cream cheese mix and form a small golf ball sized ball. Don't be afraid to get messy!

Step 6:

Dunk the ball into the bowl of melted chocolate and roll it around to ensure that it is fully covered in chocolate.

Step 7:

Set the covered ball onto the foil.

Step 8:

Continue steps 5-7 until all the chocolate is used.

Step 9:

Set the tray in the freezer for one hour.

Step 10:

Take out and Enjoy!!!
