You can cut a piece of printer paper to the correct size if you do not have origami paper.

6 x 6 inch piece of paper

Step 1: Intro

Start with a crisp piece of origami paper.

Step 2: Halves

Fold the paper in half both ways.

(into ¼, like a + sign)

Step 3: X Marks the Spot!

Fold the paper in half diagonally both ways.

(Like an X)

Step 4: Flip Flop

Flip the paper over.

Step 5: The Paper Looks Like a Tent...

Fold the paper upward. It resembles a tent.

Step 6: Collapse the Tent...

Looking at the previous step, you will fold the tent in half → horizontally to make something like this.

Step 7: Triangle

You should have a triangular piece of paper.

Step 8: Diamond

Fold the corners up to make a diamond shape in the middle of the triangle.

Step 9: Continued...

You should have something that looks like this.

Step 10: Flip Flop

Flip the paper over and face the triangle downward.

Step 11: Small Triangle

Fold the middle piece up. It will be a small triangle.

Step 12: Flip Flop
