Introduction: Origami Frog

Do you have a bunch of sticky notes lying around? And do you like frogs? Great with this tutorial you can create a small origami frog of you own.

Step 1: Folds 1,2,3

  1. Fold in half longways to make at tall rectangle
  2. fold the rectangle down to make a smaller square crease and unfold back to a rectangle
  3. Fold a triangle on the top square crease unfold and repeat on the other side
  4. The end result will be a rectangle divided into two squares with an x through the top square

Step 2: Folds 4,5,6

  1. fold the top square in half as shown above crease and unfold
  2. Pull the creases that you just made together to from a triangle on the bottom
  3. Press the top down to form another triangle
  4. End result looks a little like a house

Step 3: Folds 7,8,9

  1. fold the bottom up to the base of the triangle
  2. Fold the side into the middle beneath the top triangle repeat on the other side
  3. Fold the bottom to the base of the triangle again
  4. Once again end result will look like a house but with a smaller bottom this time

Step 4: Folds 10,11,12,13

  1. fold the corners on the bottom in to the middle to create a triangle repeat on the other side
  2. Pull the highest tip of the bottom triangle out towards the side repeat on the other side it will look like a sailboat
  3. Fold the bottom pieces down as shown above
  4. Fold each tip over to create the feet of the frog

Step 5: Finished!

your fantastic frog is finished!

You can use a pencil or pen to draw a face or leave it as is. Enjoy you frogs!!!!
