Introduction: PC Build

A good reason to build your own PC is that you can build it however you want.

The supplies you are going to need:

-CPU(Intel Core i3)

-Motherboard-(B365M-HDV)

-RAM(G-Skill)

-PC Case-(Cooler Master)

-M.2 Drive/SSD

-Power Supply(EVGA)

-Anti Static Mat and wristband

-Screwdriver

Step 1: Safety and Unboxing

The first step is to get your static mat and ESD strap, then you can unbox everything.

Step 2: Installing the CPU and Heat Sink

Install your CPU into the motherboard. Lift up the pin and make sure the corners of the CPU match up and it goes in smooth. Close the latch on the CPU. Then put the heat sink on the CPU and apply thermal paste(if needed). Make sure that the pins on the fan are turned clockwise so that they go in the holes and make sure that it snaps in. Then plug in the Heat Sink in the "CPU fan spot"

Step 3: Install RAM

What you need to do is to make sure the RAM lines up in the slot and then press in the RAM so both sides click in.

Step 4: Install the SSD

Make sure that the SSD goes into the slot and put the screw in.

Step 5: Plug Your Power Supply Into the Motherboard

What you need to do next is to plug in the power supply. You only have to plug in 3 cables, the USB, the 4/8 pin, and the 20/24 pin. Then turn on the power supply and jump the motherboard with a screwdriver and put the screwdriver between the two power switch pins.

Step 6: Putting Everything in the PC Case

After you test your motherboard outside of the case and it works, unscrew the PC case cover and install the standoffs that come inside of the Case. There should be 4 standoffs that you put in. There is a tool also included in the PC Case that well help you tighten the standoff holes. Then put the IO Shield where it goes inside of the case. Then install the motherboard into the case and make sure that everything lines up and that the screws go in the standoff holes. Next you are going to have to take the back of the case off to install the Power Supply. Put the power supply in and screw the screws in.

Step 7: Plugging Everything In

What you do next is plug the 20/24 pin, the 4/8 pin, the fan in the case into the "CHAS FAN" port. Then plug in the USB plug and the power switch, reset button, and the LED lights into the motherboard. Then plug your power supply into a power outlet and you can plug in a speaker or hook your PC up to a monitor. Then you can put the case cover back on and turn on your PC.
