Easy Solution to making DIY paintball grenades in bulk.

INTRO:

There's a bunch of ways to fill paint grenades including garden sprayers, 60ml syringes etc. However, in order to fill thick walled tubing you need a lot of pressure. This fill station is your answer to get started and works perfectly with my other Instructable for making spinning paint grenades that are reverse engineered from the Tippmann Big Boy paint grenade. Cost to make this fill station using links below is under $75 not including tax. However, this Instructable assumes the reader has some basic shop tools including an air compressor. If not, here is the cheapest one available thru Home Depot for &79.00 dollars.

***note - this Instructable and the diagram provided shows how to make a one valve loader. The live photos of mine show three valves/barbs because I was going thru a phase of research on which inside/outside diameter worked best so I set mine up to be able to load either at any time. However, if you follow through this Instructable and onto my other one on how to make paint grenades, you will only need the one size provided here in these instructions.

MATERIALS (SEE DIAGRAM FOR LAYOUT AND SETUP):

A: (3) 3 in. x 1-1/2 in. PVC reducing coupler

B: (3) 1-1/2 in. x 1/2 in. PVC reducing bushing (1/2 in. side is threaded)

C: (2) 1/2 in. Brass FIP x FIP ball valve (threaded)

D: (4) 1/2 in. x "close" PVC riser

E: (2) pieces of 3 in. PVC Charlotte pipe (cut you preference)

F: (1) 1/2 in. Brass FIP "tee"

G: (1) 1/2 in. x 1/4 in. brass MIP x FIP bushing

H: (1) 1/4 in. Full Port Ball valve (for air tools)

I: (1) 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. NPT Male Brass Plug

J: (1) 1/2 in. PVC 90 degree elbow

K: (1) 1/2 in. x 3/8 in. Brass Barb x MIP

L: (not pictured) 5/8 in. spring hose clamp (couldn't find on homedepot.com)

Assemble all parts in order shown in diagram. I'll leave the mount/stand up to you based on your needs. I happen to own a welder and made mine out of 1 inch steel square tubing but that is complete overkill for this Instructable's purpose.

Unfortunately no. Didn't think about doing any Instructables until I started doing one for a better DIY paint grenade (still working on that one) and realized I should show the fill station too. So I tried to make the diagram as self explanatory as possible and include links to all the parts. Will publish the DIY grenade one in a day or two
