Introduction: Pallet Table- Nice and Slow

Here is one of my first attempts at crafting a table out of re-purposed pallets. It's simple, but I actually like it more than I do the more complicated ones. I didn't take the time to photograph each step, but here is how it went. (The picture of the upside down table is actually another project, but the design is the same so I added it for further reference.)

I began by getting some pallets...the safe number is usually 2 because they splinter up sometimes during the tear-down step. I then took them apart, being careful about it so I get as much usable material as possible.

I laid the best slats(?) side by side (best surface down) and nailed a few "bridges" to them to string them all together. You can see this on the pic of the upside down table. It looks like a shutter or a helpless shield XD after this step.

Next, I constructed the rectangular structure that would serve many purposes: hold the legs on, sturdy the top planks, and cover up the nasty "bridges". I attached this from the side, fastening it to the "bridges" AND from the top!

At this point, the only thing left to do is put the legs on. Cut them to size and slap 'em in the corners.

Again, this is a pretty simple design but, in a nutshell, that's how it's done.  If any of you make one similar, let me know! I'd like to see how they turn out!
