Introduction: Panini
My take on a delicious sandwich.
For vegetarians just sub ham for a little extra veggies.
For vegans I would recommend vegan cheese and make aioli with avocado instead of mayo.

Step 1: Get Ingredients Together
(Makes 3 paninis)
- 3 Telera rolls
- 1 red pepper thinly julienned
- 1/4 red onion sliced
- 1 1/2 cups of spinach
- mozzarella sliced
- 1/3 cup of mayo
- 1 tablespoon of garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon of dry basil (or fresh)
- 5oz honey ham shaved
- 3 Telera rolls
- 1 red pepper thinly julienned

Step 2: Prepare a Skillet for the Peppers
In a skillet poor 2 to 3 cups of water.
Generously season the water with salt and pepper.
Turn on high until boil.

Step 3: Preheat Oven to 300 Degrees F
Step 4: Make Aioli
While the oven is preheating and the water is getting to a boil lets make the aioli.
In a bowl mix 1/3 cup mayo, 1 tbl garlic and 1/2 tbl of basil.
Mix well as shown in picture.

Step 5: Cook Peppers
Water should be boiling so let's add our red pepper julienned.
Turn down to mid-high temp and let cook for a few minutes.
We want a soft red pepper. I do the fork test as shown in picture. If it feels crispy than let it cook longer.

Step 6: Dress Up the Paninis
Cut open Telera rolls.
Spread aioli on both sides.
Start with red onions.
Spinach.
Ham.
Mozzarella.
Red peppers (cooked)
And close sandwich.

Step 7: Place in Oven
Place in oven for 10 minutes at 300.
(My oven gets extremely hot so you might want to try 325 maybe a bit higher but anything higher than 350 will burn the bread)
