Paper Circuit Surprise Card

This surprise card looks like a film clapper at first but it becomes a theatre stage and has lights when you open it.

Supplies

coloured paper (black, red, yellow, white etc.)

pen (visible on black)

scissors

glue

ruler

carpet knife

red ribbon (for the stage curtains)

extra: heart shaped symbols (for decoration)

copper tape

normal tape

led

paper

pencil

paper clip

battery

Step 1: Preparing the Front of the Card

cut your black paper as two pieces, add the white stripes that you also cut previously and attach the small portion of your card with a black ribbon. Draw some lines for it to look like a film clapper.

Step 2: Inside of the Card

inside your card draw your curtains and decorate them with red ribbons for it to look like curtains, insert a different colored floor on the bottom.Draw your character on a separate color paper and stick it on the stage. Decorate the stage with drawings or roses. And feel free to color your character.

Step 3: Paper Circuit

start by drawing a plan, insert your leds accordingly being careful that the longer tail represents (+) secure their legs on to your copper tape with normal tape

leave a small space for the top of your led in between to stay away from a short circuit

end with creating a opening for your light and secure it with a paper clip that holds your battery

Step 4: The End

open a small hole through your card and place the lights in the hole.
