Introduction: Paper Crossbow

This paper crossbow is very cool. Thx and please VOTE!!!:):):):)

Step 1: Step 1

These are all the things you will need to make the cool paper crossbow: 11 sheets of printer paper Scissors Tape Strong string Pencil 4 Popsicle sticks Sharpie

Step 2: Step 2

Fold 4 of the sheets of paper in half long ways and cut along the fold.

Step 3: Step 3

Roll the paper around the pencil like so in the picture. Then tape the paper roll so that the roll stays together. And then slide the roll off the pencil.

Step 4: Step 4

Place a mark with your sharpie 1 1/2" from both ends of a popsicle and on both your paper rolls.

Step 5: Step 5

Push the popsicle stick into one of the rolls of paper until it lines up with the dot on the stick. Then snap off the Popsicle stick. Push the other end of the popsicle stick into the end of the other roll of paper until it lines up with the dot and snap off the stick.

Step 6: Step 6

Get your other two popsicle sticks and insert one into the end of each roll of paper that doesn't have a popsicle stick already in the end. Make sure that the popsicle stick in one end of your paper roll is horizontally placed and that one is vertically placed. Leave about 2" of the stick showing.

Step 7: Step 7

Reinforce the end of both rolls with more tape. Than bend the roll in half like I did.

Step 8: Step 8

Roll 5 sheets of paper around the pencil. Tape the roll of paper together. And take out the pencil.

Step 9: Step 9

Tape the arms to the body of the crossbow.

Step 10: Step 10

Take your string and double-knot it around the end of the popsicle stick. Than stretch your string out to the other popsicle stick and cut about 1" or so past the end of the stick. Double-knot the end of the string to the end of the other popsicle stick. Tape the knots to the popsicle sticks.

Step 11: Step 11

Pull the string back until it sort of looks like a square, mark it with your sharpie like I did in the picture. Get a knife or something else sharp and stab through the paper roll where the mark is. Move the knife back and forth so that the cut is about 1/4" wide or so.

Step 12: Step 12

Cut a small piece of a popsicle stick in half long ways. Put the little piece in the whole that you made in the last step. Pull back the string and test fire the crossbow.

Step 13: Step 13

Get your last sheet of paper and cut it in half long ways. Roll each half of the paper around the pencil making two more rolls of paper. Tape the roll to keep it together. Try to flatten out both rolls. Tape the flattened out rolls to the top of the crossbow where the trigger is.

Step 14: Step 14

Loosely roll a narrow strip of paper about an 1" wide around the pencil and tape it together. Make sure that your pencil can easily slide completely through your roll of paper. Mount the roll to the front of your crossbow.

Step 15: Step 15

Remove the metal piece on the end of your pencil and sharpen your pencil if you haven't already. To fire just pull back the string place your pencil on top and pull the trigger. FIRE in a safe direction, because the pencil will shoot fast and far.
