Paper flowers make great decor pieces. Consider making one for your mother for Mother's Day. I am sure she will be surprised and cherish it. You can add a stem and leaves if you desire, or use it at a place setting at the dinner table. They look really detailed but are rather simple to make. I bet you will not stop at just making one once you learn how.

Step 1: Materials

  • 4 square pieces of paper (mine were 5" squares)
  • scissors
  • craft glue
  • pencil
  • optional - watercolors and liquid dye

Cut your paper into squares before we begin.

Step 3: Final

Here is the final flower with a bit of watercolor marker added by watering it down with a water brush pen to the petals.
