Paracord Cable Ties

Easy to make cable ties using short paracord scraps.

Step 1: Materials

Paracord Scraps, at least 3" long (1)
Jewelry Wire, x gauge (2)
Wire cutters (3)
Lighter or candle (4)


You don't have to use scraps.
Just make sure you gut the paracord and that you'll a little more wire than paracord.

Step 2: Measure

Measure the scrap. Measure that much wire (1) , cut, and fold 1/4" on each end (2).

Step 3: Seal, Insert, Seal

Seal one end of the paracord.

Insert the wire.

Seal the other end.

Step 4: Done

Now you've got some soft, reusable, possibly colorful ties for use around the house.
