Intro: Pb and J

To make a Peanut Butter and Jelly properly you need to gather all the supplies together. Bread, Peanut Butter, Jelly, a Knife and a plate.

STEP 1: Get the Bread Out

At this point you need to gauge how hungry you are. Do you need 1 piece of bread or two?

STEP 2: Close the Bread Bag Up

You don't want the bread to dry out! make sure all the air is out of the bag and the twist tie is twisted a couple times.

STEP 3: Open the Peanut Butter

Open the peanut butter and make sure there is enough in there for your sandwich

STEP 4: Get Peanut Butter on the Knife

One serving of Peanut Butter is 2 Tablespoons, so get a lot on that knife!

STEP 5: Spread the Peanut Butter

Start at the far edge of the peanut butter and glide in one motion to the opposite side.

STEP 6: Press Firmly at the End to Reduce the Amount of Peanut Butter Left on the Knife

We need all the peanut butter we can get.

STEP 7: Wipe the Knife on the Edge

Since you have licked the knife, you can wipe the excess peanut butter off on the inside ledge of the jar by placing the knife at an angle and pulling downwards

STEP 8: Clean Knife

The knife is clean and will not leave any residue in the jelly jar.

STEP 9: Open the Jelly

It is always nice to be the first person to use the jelly.

STEP 10: Get Jelly the Knife

Just enough to add the taste to the sandwhich

STEP 11: Spread Jelly

Start from one edge and in one motion smooth to the other edge

STEP 12: Press Harder at the Edge and Smooth So All the Jelly Gets Off the Knife and Stays in Your Sandwhich

STEP 13: Clean Knife

STEP 14: Put the Jelly Bread on Top of the Peanut Butter Bread

Clean breads out, Pb and j breads in

STEP 15: Cut the Bread Diagonally

This will create triangles

STEP 16: Two Triangles

If you like your sandwich bigger, stop here

STEP 17: Cut Again the Opposite Diagonal

This will create 4 little triangles

STEP 18: 4 Triangles

This is easier to eat and leaves less mess on the face

STEP 19: Have the Owner of the Sandwich Test It

STEP 20: Enjoy the Sandwhic

Finally an instructable I can use.

So the jelly goes on top of the pb. That's where I've been going wrong.

Please post one for grilled cheese, I can never remember weather the cheese goes on the outside or the inside.
