Pen Stands

In this guide I'll show you how to make these pen stands that I make!

Step 1: Take a Bunch of Wooden Blocks

Divide them up into groups of 6.

Step 2: Drill a Hole in One of the Six Blocks

This will end up being the top of the pen stand. You can use a drill bit of your choice, whatever allows the pen tip to fit snugly into the hole.

Step 3: Paint!

Paint three sides of four out of the 6 blocks. Do not paint one of the blocks at all, that one will become the base for the top part of the stand, and paint all sides, including the top, of the block you drilled the hole through.

Step 4: Start Gluing

Glue four of the blocks onto the unpainted block, making sure that the three sides that you painted are all facing outward. Wait for the glue to dry.

Step 5: Finish Gluing

Finish gluing by putting glue on the bottom of the block you drill the hole through, and attaching that block to the top of the unpainted block.

Step 6: Finished!
