Introduction: Pencil Cap

I get super irritated when the graphite from my pencils get all over my bag and everything in it. It gets all over my hands and drives me crazy! I was looking at some solutions and found a pencil cap, but I’m too cheap to buy them, so I just made some. They’re super cute, simple, and work like a charm!

Supplies

Hot glue
Pencil
Paper (I used 12x12 scrapbook paper)
Scissors

Step 1: Step 1:

Cut all your paper into 3x2 pieces. Since I used 12x12 paper I folded it into sixths and cut, then folded that into fourth and cut again.

Step 2: Step 2:

This is the hardest part. Very carefully roll the paper around your pencil. Roll it as tightly as possible! (otherwise it won’t work well)

Step 3: Step 3:

About half a centimeter from the end of the paper, apply a thin strip of hot glue and continue rolling until you reach the end. Hold the end down until it dries then pull it off the end of the pencil.

Step 4: Step 4:

Add a small dot of hot glue in the inside of the tube. Squeeze it shut and enjoy your pencil cap!
