Intro: Perfect Iced Tea

I love iced tea. It is hydrating, packed with nutrients, and tastes better than water. I found this tea pitcher that makes the best iced tea in the world!!!

STEP 1: Gather Your Materials

You will need:

The pitcher (it is 4 pieces).
Loose leaf tea (pictured here is Green and Fruity - a discontinued tea from David's Tea).
A measuring spoon.
Hot Water.
Ice.

STEP 2: Measure Your Tea

This pitcher works best when you double the amount of tea recommended in the tea's directions for one cup. For this batch I used 4 spoonfuls.

STEP 3: Add Hot Water and Steep

Add water to the line on the side of the pitcher. Steep for 10-15 minutes.

STEP 4: Fill the Insert With Ice

There is an inner part to the pitcher it is part ice vessel and part tea press. Fill the insert all the way with ice.

STEP 5: Press and Ice Simultaneously!

Put the insert into the middle of the pitcher. Press it all the way down. This does two jobs, it ices the tea and removes all of the leaves and fruit. Quite a nice design!

STEP 6: Enjoy!
