Introduction: Perfectly Peeled Melon
This is a new way I've started "peeling" watermelons. It saves a lot of wasted rhine.
Step 1: Peeled Watermelon
Start off by taking the ends off. It helps it not wiggle around constantly.
Step 2: Chop Chop
Just start wailing away at the poor fruit. I normally will leave som e of the white on there during this step.
Step 3: Detail Work
use this step to really fine tune all those little bits and pieces. Now you will have a nicely peeled melon to enjoy.

I worked in a supermarket produce department as a teenager. this was how we would peel all the melons when we made the fruit bowls. It is a quick efficient way to process an entire melon with almost no waste.
for melons like cantaloupe and honeydew, instead of cutting the ends off, you want to cut it in the middle and scoop out the seeds then lay the halves flat side down and peel as shown above.
