Photopea Tutorial: XXL Freshman Poster

This tutorial will show you how to recreate a XXL Freshman cypher poster inspired from the 2016 one by using adjustment layers and layer masks.

Step 1: Insert and Position Images

Save the images for the poster. Go to File > Open and Place and find the images you saved for the poster. Place each image in a similar position to the XXL Freshman class poster.

Step 2: Lasso and Raster Mask

Use the lasso tool and outline only the person. Then select "Add Raster Mask" at the bottom of the layers tab. This is to isolate the images and keep them off the background.

Step 3: Resize and Move the Images

Resize move the masks to the correct position and size according to the poster using the move tool and the transform feature.

Step 4: Background Image & Layer Arrangement

Upload a background and place it in the last layer behind all the images.

Step 5: Import Logo, Lasso, and Move

Upload the logo, lasso it like the other images, and move it corresponding to the example poster.

Step 6: Add Text

Add the text for the XXL Freshman Class and position it correctly on the poster.
