How to make creative heat transfer patch to improve or repair clothes ?

We will be using fabrics leftovers (be sure to choose fabrics that can be lasercut)

Step 1: Step 1 : Forms

In collaboration with a designer we made forms,

first draw on paper and then vectorize on Inkscape and saved into a SVG file.

The forms were assembled into a A3 size.

Put some Iron on adhesives on the fabrics leftovers you choose.

Tu put the adhesive iron 5 secondes the iron on adhesive on all fabric places.

Step 2: Step 2 : Laser Cut

Transfer the svg file to the laser cutter software.

Put the fabrics with the transfer on top.

Make some tests on the fabrics to choose the right laser cut parameters, depending on the fabric, the power will be different in order to prevent burns on the forms side.

Step 3: Step 3 : Patch It

Now you have all your forms,

All you have to do is to choose the place to put the forms on your clothes.

Take off the paper on the heat transfer, put it on the desired place on iron on for 5 seconds.

Be sure that all the fabric heat transfer is fixed.
