Pinecone Centerpiece

Here is a simple idea for an easy decoration. If you can gather some pinecones, you can do this in an afternoon. It makes a colorful display for a porch or table.  

Step 1: Supplies

Pinecones, Can of spray paint, newspaper and basket or large vase.

Step 2: Wash the Pinecones

Remove any pine needles, Dip the pinecones in a bowl of warm water and allow to air dry for a couple of hours.

Step 3: Paint Pinecones

place pinecones on newspaper and spray paint. Do this outdoors. Allow to dry for about an hour. Turn them over and paint the other side. Allow to dry.

Step 4: Display in Container

Choose a nice basket or vase to display your pinecones.
