Draw out you Circles
Step 3: Cut
Cut out your Circles
Step 4: Glue
Glue up your circles

I liked the vase you made, I had never considered plywood for turning before a couple weeks ago. I think If you drilled or cut the centers out of the disks you could have made shaping the inside of the vase easier -- another suggestion would be to hollow out the bulk of the bottom of the vase before gluing the narrow neck on it, this way the bottom would have been thinner and the overall piece lighter.
I turned a pen out of a scrap piece of plywood I had the other day.

I made this but kicked it up a notch. I cut out the scrap into donuts instead of solid pieces. Thanks for the inspiration.

Your very welcome Buddy. I was thinking, How do you think one of those vases would come out if MDF was used ?? Just a thought as I have loads of off cuts of it...
