Step 1: Circuit

The audio board is connected to the charger board which connects to the battery and the barrel jack AC adapter. You need a switch between the audioboard and the charger. The audio board has four wires where two connect to each speaker. Place the switch and jack in their respective holes before hard wiring them in.

Step 2: Finding Helmet Curve

First, you need to find the curve of your helmet. You will need paper, tape, a pencil, and two rulers.

  1. Fold the paper in half short ways then unfold
  2. Take two pieces of tape and put them on the edges of the paper that are furthest away from each other
  3. place the paper on the center of the helmet so it is flush
  4. Measure the height and length of three points of the paper on both sides
  5. repeat this step with the helmet rotated 90 degrees
  6. Build 3d model of the curve in solid works or other website

Step 3: Lazar Cut and Glue Parts

Make files dxf so you can lazar up them. Remember to add holes for the jack and switch before cutting the pieces out. Place speakers in holes before gluing the pieces together. Give time to dry. Use hot glue or another type of glue to attach wood to the helmet.

Step 4: Put Circuit Inside Speaker.

Put the circuit inside the speaker. You can glue down parts of the circuit to the inside of the speaker to make it more durable.
