This is awesome! Its a simple, reasonably priced hack. /applaud
Keep up the good work.

Hehe these types of projects always seem very straight forward. Grab an arduino, prototype board, a sensor, and go to work... but the BoM adds up and gets expensive quickly. I suppose if you were mass producing this for blind people everywhere you would be able to get the cost down further.

Have you been able to find someone who is blind to test this?
