Introduction: Potato Wedges and Cheese

I made homemade Potato wedges and added some cheese onto the top to make more than just regular potato wedges. The Potato's used come straight from my little brothers garden that he works in all year long and puts a ton of hard work into. Occasionally I will go down and work in the garden so it was really cool to use the fresh home grown Potatoes. This recipe will work with any potatoes they don't have to be home grown but it makes it taste a lot better knowing you grew the ingredients. Prepare to have a great snack/side item!


  • Potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Bag of shredded cheese
  • Vinegar(Not needed but is very very good on it)

Step 1: Get All of Your Ingredients and Prepare Them to Be Cooked.

You will of course need a potato to do this project so head out to your garden or to the grocery store and get potatoes. Get salt, pepper, and olive oil. That is the main part because that cooks up the potatoes and makes them able to be eaten. If your going to add on the cheese then get a bag of shredded cheddar cheese so that you can sprinkle the cheese on the wedges.

Step 2: Cook Up the Items

Once you have gotten all of your ingredients you are ready to cook them up to get closer to eating which is obviously the best part. You will use a fryer to cook them up because that will make them crispy which is what your going for. Use the olive oil to cook it so that it has a lot of flavor. While cooking occasionally add salt and pepper to it so that it has that salty taste. Just cook it purely off of your opinion if you want it more crispy cook it until you think it's crispy enough. If you don't want it as crispy take it off whenever you feel is good.

Step 3: The Cheese

Your going to want to add the cheese right before you want the wedges to be done. So that the wedges and the cheese are done at the same time. It'll be melted the perfect amount and the potato wedges will be to your liking. Sprinkle it on so that there is a good amount of cheese on everyone but don't smother them.

Step 4: Enjoy!

Grab some ketchup or pretty much anything you want on fries and dig in and enjoy your homemade meal.
