This is a privacy screen that can be placed on a desk. This is useful for kids who need to be more isolated to do their work and help block out distractions. It can also help promote their concentration on whatever task they are doing.

Cardboard Knife

Tri-Wall Cardboard

Gummed Tape

Primer - I use water-based primer

Paint - I use a latex-based paint. We often paint these privacy screens black for students with cortical visual impairment

Bill of Materials

Step 1: Cut Cardboard

Cut out three cardboard pieces (two side pieces and one back piece) using the measurements in the drawing above.

Step 2: Edging and Finishing

Cover all exposed edges with the gummed tape. Then apply primer, paint and polyurethane.
