Introduction: Proto Wire Rack
A majority of the mess on my workbench usually consist of proto wires, and storing them in a drawer isn't convenient. I created this rack to store them so they would be accessible. I still have an abundance of them to place on the rack and I need to sort them by color but this is like a feasibility study. The first thing I notice is the rat's nest on the underneath side, I may have to deal with that later.
Step 1: Files
You will likely have to sand or file the space between the tines I made them a little tight. The center spine is for extra support, I could have done this a little different but figure for this prototype it was sufficient. I have included the STL and Sketchup files for your convenience. If you have any upgrades or suggestions I would love to hear about them.

Thanks rbusch. I appreciate the kudos. Yeah. I love my power supply, I should do an instructable on it. That desk is one I was going to throw out until I came up with the idea to put the power unit where the CD storage used to be. Eventually, I intend to make it match and install a variable voltage control and panel meter.

YW i think i will be trying to make my own power supply soon. tried making an isolation transformer out of two primary's from microwave transformers slapped into one of the E-cores. but must have damaged something in the process. blowing a 4 amp fuse on the primary with 20 watt load, and NO load on the secondary... hmmm... :(
