Introduction: Purple Flowers With Pipe Cleaners

About: I like to make crafts

Creating flowers with pipe cleaners is a great way to de-stress. This soft, delicate material gives flowers a very delicate appearance. In this instructable, you can see how easy it is to create flowers; they look so adorable.

I opted for a purple bouquet.

Supplies

  1. Purple pipe cleaners
  2. green pipe cleaners
  3. white pipe cleaners
  4. tape
  5. scissors
  6. sticks
  7. lighter

Step 1:

  1. 15 pipe cleaners
  2. 6 are left whole, and 9 are cut in half.
  3. Then fold them back and fold them in half, then cut them in half again.
  4. Of the 6 pipe cleaners that were left whole, select one and insert 3 small pipe cleaners.

Step 2:

  1. Place the 3 small pipe cleaners in the center, and bend the large pipe cleaner to fit the 3 small ones.
  2. Place all the pipe cleaners together, forming the flower petal.
  3. Using a bamboo stick, take the pipe cleaners at the ends and twist them onto the stick.
  4. Remove the bamboo stick and pull the twisted pipe cleaners slightly.
  5. Pull the twisted pipe cleaners and close the flower, as shown in the images.

Step 3:

  1. For the leaves, take 3 complete pipe cleaners.
  2. Fold them in half. Using one of the 3 pipe cleaners, hold all the pipe cleaners together.
  3. Fold them downward, gather them together, and hold them together.
  4. Close one end and shape them into a leaf shape with your hands, as shown in the images.

Step 4:

  1. Take 1 white pipe cleaner.
  2. Cut it into 3 pieces.
  3. You'll need 5 pistils for the flower.
  4. Burn the fiber with a lighter, leaving 1 cm unburned. This will form the pistils.
  5. Hold the 5 pistils together with a pipe cleaner, as shown in the image.

Step 5:

  1. Take a bamboo stick and glue petal by petal.
  2. First, glue two petals.
  3. Now, glue the pistils so they are secured to the petals. Once they are all glued, finish placing the remaining petals. This flower has a total of six petals.
  4. Secure them with florist's tape and begin wrapping the entire stem.

Step 6:

  1. For this flower, the process is the same as the previous one, except that the entire pipe cleaner used to hold the small ones will be changed for a white pipe cleaner, so that the edge of the flower contrasts with the purple pipe cleaners.

Step 7:

Step 8:

For the tulip flower,

  1. Take 6 full purple pipe cleaners.
  2. Fold them in half.
  3. Cut them in half.
  4. Fold the halves again.
  5. Add 3 double-folded pipe cleaners to a full pipe cleaner.
  6. Fold the full pipe cleaner, tying a knot,
  7. to hold the 3 smaller ones.
  8. Order all the pipe cleaners neatly.
  9. Take one of the long ends and tie a knot,
  10. to hold all the pipe cleaners together.

Step 9:

  1. Shape it into a slightly concave shape to line the tulip petal.
  2. On a bamboo stick, glue one of the petals with silicone. This will serve as a guide for gluing the other three petals so they're all at the same height.
  3. Cover the bamboo stick with florist's tape.
  4. Then add the green leaf and finish applying the tape all around the stick.

Step 10:

  1. Take 9 green pipe cleaners.
  2. For this foliage, take a green pipe cleaner.
  3. Leave 5 cm and begin twisting it, as shown in the image.
  4. Close the 5 cm you left, tying a small knot.
  5. To finish with the excess, insert it in the middle and close it.
  6. To do this, you should make 9 leaves.

Step 11:

  1. Take a bamboo skewer and place florist's tape on the tip.
  2. Glue the first green leaf to the tip with silicone.
  3. Add one by one and secure them by wrapping florist's tape until all 9 leaves have been added.
  4. Finish placing the tape all over the skewer, as shown in the image.

Step 12:

  1. Take 2 purple pipe cleaners
  2. on a bamboo stick and twist them.
  3. Remove the pipe cleaners from the stick.
  4. Pull the pipe cleaners slightly, as shown in the picture.
  5. Take the two pipe cleaners and join them in the middle, securing them with a small knot.
  6. Join the 4 pipe cleaners that were formed together and close them with a knot, thus creating the flower shape.

Step 13:

It's wonderful all the things you can do with this material, these were some of the flowers I made for this project, but you can achieve many more, such as roses, sunflowers, daisies, all the flowers you can imagine.
