Want to create a cute and quick little costume for your fairy and angel makes?

This really simple way creates a perfect tutu or angel fairy dress for your felted makes!

Supplies

Wool locks

Carding brush

Felting needle

Find our wool locks at www.tregaverfibre.co.uk

Step 1: Pick the Right Wool for Your Project

Take a few of our locks, and felt them together at the top.


The amount you need will depend on the size of the dress you intend to make, but this dress is around palm size, and took 4-6 ringlets

Step 2: Ensure You Have What You Need

Use a carding brush for best results, however you can use a pet slicker brush too, just like the one pictured

Step 3: Create the Tutu

Gently begin to brush out the fibre from the tips of the locks.


Always start at the tips (the non felted end)

Once you've brushed out a tiny bit, move your carding brush and work on the next section - slowly work upwards towards your felted section

Step 4: Add Your Dress to Your Fairy

Once you've finished, you can felt your dress right onto the creation!
