Introduction: Quick Scones Recipe
Me and my husband have different sleeping patterns - I get up when he's still asleep, and he goes to bed long after me. Sometimes I get up to find that he baked me scones for breakfast. They're very quick and easy to make, and so satisfying!
They take about twenty minutes altogether.

Step 1:
To make scones for 4 people (or 2 hungry and greedy!) you will need:
Sieve the flour into a bowl. Cut up butter into smaller pieces, and using your fingers mix it with flour.
- 230 g self-raising flour
- 1/6 pack unsalted butter (not too cold)
- 1,5 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 glass of milk
- pinch of salt

Step 2:
Add salt and sugar. Whilst stirring, pour milk in - it should not be too dry or too sticky. Add more milk or flour if necessary. You can quickly knead it with your hands to make a ball. Now sprinkle some flour on a flat surface and roll it out to about 1/2 inch (1,5 cm) thick. I cut mine out using a glass - just press it through the dough. Put on a baking tray and bake until golden on the top shelf - it will take about 10-15 minutes.
