Introduction: Quilled Parrot
QUILLED PARROT
Requirement:
Card stock
Water or acrylic colour
Slotted quilling tool
Quilling papers of different colours (3mm size)
Glue
Quilled shapes:
Tear drop (various degrees of curving)
Honey comb
Tight coil (for eyes)
Draw a sketch of a parrot. Paint the sections where you plan to do honeycomb quilling and on the tail with same shade/approximately same shade as that of the quilled paper. Mark the boundary by pasting the quilling papers vertically. Then, paste the eyes and honey comb shapes on the sketch (by applying glue on the card stock)

Step 1:
On the feather start pasting from the lower section of the feather and paste the layer above it in a partially overlapping format. Continue in the same manner for the entire feather. Complete the parrot by pasting the quilled shapes on the remaining portion (beak, branch, leaves). The colourful parrot is ready.
