Introduction: R Direct Drive
The reason for this project is to combine E3DV6 hotend and the Orbiter extruder to create a small and lightweight direct driver.After more than two months of design and testing, it has the current appearance. The assembly is very simple.

10 M3 Knurled Brass Nut(M3X4X4.5mm)(16);
11 5015 fan;
12 3010 fan;
13 E3DV6 or E3DV6 CLONE or DRAGON or DRAGONFLY hotend;
14 the Orbiter V1.5 Extruder;
15 MGN12C Block;
Step 1: Prepare the Bill of Materials
Prepare required materials according to the list provided.
Step 2: Embed Nut on Print
The insert nut can be heated with a soldering iron, nut type: M3 Knurled Brass Nut (M3X4X4.5mm).
Step 3: Install the 3010 Fan
3010 fan does not need screws.
Step 4: Install E3DV6
Install the heating rod and thermistor on the E3DV6 first, and then fix it with M3X16.
Step 5: Arrange the Wires
Arrange the wires one by one.
Step 6: Install the MGN12C Block
Fix with M3X10 and M3X6 screws.
Step 7: Install the Cooling Fan Duct
Fix with M3X12 screws.
Step 8: Install the 5015 Fan
Fix with M3X30 screw.
Step 9: Install the Belt
Fix with M3X25 screws.
Step 10: Install Teflon Tubing
Teflon tube length is 74.5mm.
Step 11: Install the Orbiter V1.5 Extruder
Fix with M3X8 screws.
Step 12: Install 3dtouch or Bltouch
Fix with M3X6 and M3X12 screws.
Step 13: Install the Harness Clip
Fix with M3X12 screws.
