Did this for my girlfriend birthday using scrapwood and RGB led strip.

Supplies

40m of coton thread

Paper & Printer

Nails & Hammer

Step 1: Assembly

3 wooden pieces of 120*30 each (didn't have a board of 120*90)

Just assembled with glue and two supports

Start printing the map in different parts using a slicing software

Put few nails to hold the paper in place and start following the lines you desire

Once you are done you can remove the paper by tearing it appart

Then you can add the cotton thread to fill in the map

The last part is adding the led stripes with the adhesive.

This project took me around 10 hours to realize thanks to the map printing, otherwise it would've been a bit longer.
