The Removable Grip Magazine Pistol is a knex handgun posted two years ago by Blue Mullet. (Check out his profile, and also his other profile, Blue Mullet 2, he has some great stuff.) The gun was special in that it had a removable magazine in the handle for dark grey clips. A month or two ago, I built the gun, and was astonished at how good it was. So I rebuilt it yesterday, and am giving you guys a quick review, parts list, and instructions. Please read the image notes, and if you have any problems with it, I check my inbox and comments very regularly, and I will do the best I can to help.

Step 1: The Review

Range: While the mech in the gun is not the best for power, it is still very good. It shoots right around the magic 50 foot mark angled. The accuracy is also very good.

ROF: This weapon has an extremely good ROF. I was able (With quite a bit of practice, of course) to get 70 RPM. (This was with five grey clips in the magazine to magazine. Basically, it would not be able to get 70 rounds off in a minuet, unless it had a seventy round mag, because reloading would take up most of the time. IF it had a seventy round mag, and IF I kept going at the same speed, however, I WOULD be able to unload the mag in a minuet. Just a little bit of clarification that probably left you more confused then if I had just left it out, LOL.)

Reliability: This gun, though I did not officially test it, is very reliable, however, if you put the bands on the pin wrong, it will double load almost every time.

Looks: This is a very good looking gun, but not as good as my favorite gun of this type for aesthetics, myOmy's No Less Then Legendary. (Check it out, it is a really cool gun) Also, one of the things on this is that takes away from the looks on the gun is how large this is. I guess it does make it more intimidating though.

Capacity: It holds 8, not good, not bad.

Pin pull: The pin pull isn't that great, but the gun works fine with the amount of pin pull, so why complain?!

Trigger: Very simple, but it works well. It has not failed me yet, and it is quite strong.

Comfort: Not really good, as the handle is pretty fat, but for the removable mag you need it to be like that.

Sights: Simple and good, the sights are just the way I like them. No problems here.

Cut parts: The amount of these little guys are not bad, in the instructions I added two of them, but I note that you can use just normal white rods. You need six cut white rods, though. I was able to remove six cut blue rods from the handle, by using white rods, like on myOmy's pistol. Also, there is one heavily modified red connector.

All in all:

This is a wonderful sidearm for a indoor war or just for fun. It doesn't use too many parts, (Around 300) it is is intimidating, mid ranged, and has a high ROF. It hits hard and is super fun to build and to shoot. Also, I am blessing you with instructions so you too can build it, without the time and effort of building from internal pictures. This is 100% Corgi approved, so build it or else. I haven't fed him for a couple hours, so he is sure to be very hungry.

Step 2: Parts List

NOTE: In the ible there are two black hinge halves. These should be grey clips. Also, I don't have many blue clips, so I had to saw off the tabs on some of the tan clips. Please refer to the image notes if you are unsure if the piece has a tab or not. There are two cut rods that are not needed, this will also be pointed out in the image notes.

Step 3: Body

Um, just follow the image notes. If the ible gets too difficult, please go back to the picture of my corgi, and you will find the ability to labor on.

Step 4: Magazine

This thing holds the clips until they are fired.

Step 5: Banding

Please band it like I do, to receive the same results.Band it as shown, but make sure that both ends of the double tied bands are on the lower blue rod, like in picture 7, not one up, one down.

Step 6: Shooting

Load the mag with 8 grey clips, put the mag in the gun, put a band on the mag pusher, pull the pin back and let it go forward. If everything is built right, you can now pull the trigger and it will fire.

Congrats, you now have a plastic pistol capable of shooting little stinging plastic bits quite a few feet. Shoot at whatever or whomever you please, but I am not responsible. Over all, this is a pretty safe gun, just don't point it at faces, as a grey connector could really hurt if launched at an eye. So have fun, and cause some mayhem in you household.

Oh, and I will let you into a little secret. My corgi has never REALLY eaten somebody who has not built a corgi approved gun. However, there is always a first time...
