Introduction: ROV

A remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) is a tethered underwater mobile device. This meaning is different from remote control vehicles operating on land or in the air. ROVs are unoccupied, highly maneuverable, and operated by a crew aboard a vessel. They are common in deep water industries such as offshore hydrocarbon extraction.

Step 1: REQUIRES

1. Three Switches

2. Three Motors

3. Twenty feet wire

4. Box

5. Battery box

6. Glue , Hot glue

7. Cutter

8. Bettries

Step 2:

Firstly, the step is to draw a control box to have an idea.

Secondly, draw the ROV and try to figure out from which part the wires go out.

Step 3:

We cut the boxes to make places for our switches in the controller.

Step 4:

We connect the wires to our switches positive / negative.

Step 5:

  • We connect the positive and negative wire of the battery box into the switches.

Step 6:

We need cover our joined wires. Otherwise we will face big problems, because if they positive wires touch the negative it will ruin everything. Then we must start from the beginning, and change the wires.

Step 7:

Then connected the wires to my motor to get started. We cover them with PVC pipe and we should made them water proof.

Step 8:

We made the (ROV) and printed out in a 3D printer. Then, put the motors inside in the ROV.

Step 9:

we need to water proof our motors to refuse water from getting in. Because if it got in it will damage our motors.

Step 10:

We made propeller for circling and to move our ROVin the water.

Step 11:

Finally, Here is the ROV.

Step 12:

3RD file of ROV for 3RD printing.

you can copy, Have fun.
