If you want a DIY Arduino based irrigation controller for your garden, this Rainmaker project can help you.
The rainmake can manage up to five zones of irrigation. Can be programmed for each day of the week.
Rainmaker is based on Atmega 168 and arduino platform. It's has onboard RTC clock.
