Introduction: Realistic Smoke-Free Minecraft Stove Top/Oven and Sink

About: Hiya! My username is Latin for ShadowWillow12 and i'm just 13 year old kid who loves to tell people how I do my Minecraft (And other!) projects! I love the British TV Show Doctor Who and I love making photos w…

Ever make a creative world to create a city, kingdom, town or even just a house? Sometimes the hardest room to make on Minecraft is the kitchen or living room (Couch Instructable coming soon). But now I can show you how to make a kitchen stove/oven!

Supplies

Here are the simple things needed to create a stove top/oven:

-Campfire

-Any Block (Smooth Stone looks best)

-Rail

-Minecart with Hopper

-Iron Trapdoor

-Any Trapdoor (Birch looks best)

-Piston

-Any Redstone Activator (Lever, button, etc)

-Lever (Under certain circumstances)

Here are the materials to make a simple kitchen sink:

-Cauldren

-Water Bucket

-Light Blue or other dye (Optional)

-Tripwire Hook

Step 1: Stove: Make Base

First, set up the base of the stove. Place the campfire down and a block on top of it. On the block, place the rail and Minecart with Hopper. Break the block to allow the minecart to drop down onto the campfire.

Step 2: Add Iron Trapdoor

Now to make it look more like a stovetop, place an iron trapdoor two blocks above the stove on the lower side of that block (See photo). Place a piston one block above it (Spacing can be tricky and hard to explain, so i'm counting on the screenshot to explain for me:-) and use a lever to activate the piston, and push the iron trapdoor right on top of the stove.

Step 3: Stop the Smoke

Place another trap door one block above it, this acts as a stove top fan. The smoke no longer generates due to the fact that despite their size, trapdoors (And some other blocks) take up a full block. With the iron trapdoor on the stove taking up one block, and the trapdoor above it taking up the other, the smoke as no where to go, this is like placing an invisible block right on top of the campfire. Though what stumps me is the logic used in the game that prevents all the other blocks put on top of the campfire from stopping the smoke 🤷. But anyway, the trap door can stay closed or can be opened using a lever, if it has to be opened (You may have to do this if your ceiling is too low) then either you can keep the lever there or simply use a wooden trapdoor instead.

Step 4: Add Deco

This part is optional, it makes the stove look better. Place wooden trapdoors around the stove and open them to lay them flat against the stove. The front one can be opened to use the campfire as an oven. (Or so I was told*, can someone please tell me how to actually use a campfire in Minecraft?)

That's all for the Easy Realistic Smokeless Oven/Stove for Your Kitchen!

Step 5: Kitchen Sink: Create Sink

This is super easy and super short, literally only one photo!

Place a cauldron and put water in it. If you want, you can add light blue dye to make the water look more fresh and less murky.

Step 6: Add Faucet

Then, simply place a Tripwire Hook above it and there you go, a sink partly for decoration, but can also be used to dye leather!
