Introduction: Red Viscard Bubul

this is a scaled version of a bird. this too over a week to make mostly it takes sooooooooooo long to dry.

it is a simple project, i made the whole project with scraps. this makes the easy to follow.

Supplies

newspaper

glue

paint

tissue paper

tooth pick (only 2)

wood base

twig of a branch

Step 1:

first step is to make the paper Mache clay. for the clay the newspaper is socked in water overnight and blended up into sort of a puree. The puree is mixed with glue and is ready to use.

Step 2:

the second step is to mold the clay into the shape of a bird. i added cardstock for the tail because i could not get the clay to be that thin. The trick is to draw the bird on a piece of paper and follow the drawing.

Step 3:

so when the clay is dry you apply a coat of tissue paper and glue. Its very simple just dilute some Elmer's with water and use a brush to stick it onto the clay body.

Step 4:

i just made a stand with wood but u could make it with anything.

Step 5:

paint there isn't much to explain in this step.

Step 6:

i just stuck the bird on the stand with glue.
