Introduction: Replace the Go2Shell.app Droplet Icon in MacOS Catalina

As I didn't particularly like the icon of the Go2Shell.app I sought after an alternative. Nevertheless, credit goes to the guys from zipzapmac.com for a great app! I ended up making a new icon myself and would like to share it with you all.

I've provided the .svg as well and if you want to tinker with it - or use it for a template for other apps.

Step by step instructions:

  1. Install Go2Shell.app
  2. Download the icon.zip and extract it
  3. Find the Go2Shell.app in your applications and use ⌘ + i to open the info window
  4. Drag and drop the cata.icns onto the Go2Shell icon at the top
  5. If needed: Remove Go2Shell from the icon bar in finder.app and re-add it
  6. All done!
