Introduction: Rolling Heightened Table Shoes

About: I am a Craft-Ahloic. I use whatever I can to create Art, Crafts or usable items, for around the home or to give away. I like small, odd and unusual item to put in my work. I look at odd parts or object and pon…

Wanted to raise up my folding craft table and be able to move it and stabilize it more.

Supplies

Scrap 1/2" Plywood

Tape Measure

Wood Glue

Wood Screws

Drill Bit

Screwdriver

4pk 2" Casters Wheels (the only thing I had to buy, $13.49)

Step 1:

Cut Plywood

4) Side Pieces 22 3/4" x 8"

4) End Pieces 8" x 2"

4) Bottom 24" x 2 1/2"

As you see in the photo I am not hugely precise.

The sizes may vary with different tables.

Step 2:

1) I drilled the holes to the Side Pieces and End Pieces.

2) I placed the pieces next to each other so the holes lined up.

3) Then I added glue and then screwed them together.

4) Next I drilled the holes one set of the Bottom Pieces and the already made pieces.

5) I repeated set 2 & 3.

Step 3:

6) I screwed to Casters on the remaining bottom pieces.

(I added this extra piece to make the height I was looking for, add stability, and to make it easier to attach the casters.)

7) I drilled the holes to the both the Bottom Pieces.

8) I repeated set 2 & 3.

Mine fit snugly, so it had to be tapped into place.

It made the table legs way more solid than it was.

And now I can easily move it around without my craft falling off.
